Hello and welcome to Cognitive Writing! My name is Megan Grossi, creator of this website I am an amateur writer with a dream of one day going pro. I am currently attending Salem State University and will have my degree in Professional Writing by December 2017. Within the past academic year, I have worked as Editor-in-Chief for the magazine Red Skies, while also contributing my own articles, as well as a copy editor for the fiction section of the literary journal Soundings East. Much of my writing, particularly fictional pieces, has been inspired by French author and Absurdist philosopher Albert Camus. However, I also have a strong passion for literary and cinematic analysis. The goal of this site, Cognitive Writing, is to provide you readers the opportunity to engage in something thought-provoking through blog posts or other writings.
